First, I would like to introduce you to the hotel quality controller. He walks around and inspects that everything is in order and greets the guests at breakfast while checking that no bites of ham go wasted. Also, if he has time, he might stay a while so that you may stroke his back.
The location of the House is hard to beat. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling.
The House is an adults only boutique hotel with 34 suites, 30 minutes from the airport.
Included:
- Jetlag massage, 30 min.
- Champagne breakfast
- Afternoon tea.
- Water sports.
- Yoga once a week.
- Water taxi.
- Gym at the sister hotel Tamarind just a few minutes away.
The garden and entrance of the House. The red house seen on the picture is a great restaurant called Scarlet serving tasty small dishes.
Our room: One bedroom Junior Suite Garden View
We were upgraded to One bedroom Junior Suite Garden View. The suite is on the top floor, see the blue parasoll. The suite under us has a small jacuzzi.
There is a welcome drink waiting for you in the room. Try the recipe, it is great!
There is also a Nespresso coffee machine in the room.
Breakfast
The buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty.
The hotel restaurant Daphne next door was open for lunch and dinner and served mouth watering, italian dishes.
In conclusion
I really liked the hotel and cannot recommend it enough. The staff is so kind and accommodating with that something extra. If you are hanging on the beach someone will be there with a complimentary drink or ready to polish your sunglasses.
I thought that the location was great but if you prefer a walking distance to all the rstaurants and fancy boutiques you might want to choose a hotel closer to Holetown.
Otherwise, there is a bus stop just outside the hotel on the Highway 1 and to take the bus is actually really convenient and fun, especially if you take the raggae bus (hah hah). That experience will be one of a kind.
